PRecycling Project Showcased at the 12th Researchers’ Night in Athens
The PRecycling Project was recently showcased at the 12th edition of Researchers’ Night, which took place on September 25, 2025, at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) campus in Athens, Greece. The event celebrated science, innovation, and creativity, bringing together thousands of visitors to explore cutting-edge research and sustainable solutions.

The event showcased over 245 research exhibits and featured live connections with CERN, promoting science, innovation, and youth engagement. Supported by Greek ministries, the City of Athens, and major sponsors, it highlighted NTUA’s pivotal role in bridging research, innovation, and society, attracting thousands of visitors. The event united researchers, students, and the public in a dynamic exchange of ideas and hands-on demonstrations, showcasing how research shapes a sustainable future.​​​​​​

R-NanoLab presented PRecycling, showcasing recyclates developed within the project and demonstrating the various stages of their transformation - from waste materials into new products.

A 3D printer was used for a live demonstration, producing small toys made from recycled HIPS derived from WEEE.

An interactive booth was designed for children of all ages, featuring a variety of toys, drawings, and gifts.

Visitors, both children and parents, learned about the PRecycling activities and discovered how toys and other everyday plastic products can be recycled and given a second life.
