PRecycling Project – M42 Meeting in Manisa, Turkey
The PRecycling consortium gathered for its M42 project meeting on October 21–22, 2025, hosted by Arçelik A.Åž. at their BEKO Campus in Manisa, Turkey. This meeting brought together project partners from across Europe to review the progress achieved during M37-M42 of the project and to define the activities planned for the upcoming period (M43–M48).

💡Day 1: Technical Progress and Site Visit​
The first day focused on technical work packages, which were presented by the respective task leaders, showcasing advancements across several key areas of the PRecycling project:​

WP5 – Production of prototypes based on circular design principles

WP4 – Recyclate track and trace methodology

WP3 – Sampling, verification & consistent quality control of recyclates & recycled content

WP1 – Waste streams mapping, methods for verifying recycled plastic content, requirements​
The day concluded with a guided site visit to Arçelik’s (BEKO) production facilities, offering participants firsthand insight into the company’s innovative manufacturing processes.

💡Day 2: Design, Engagement, and Future Planning
​
The second day focused on the design, societal engagement, and management aspects of the project, presented by the respective task leaders:​

WP6 – Design for sustainability, circularity, and safety

WP7 – Ownership and engagement of society, communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities

WP8 – Project management​
The meeting concluded with a planning session for the next six months, aligning all partners on priorities and deliverables for the coming period.

To complement the technical sessions, participants enjoyed a cultural visit to the House of the Virgin Mary and the ancient city of Ephesus, exploring Turkey’s rich historical heritage and fostering closer collaboration among consortium members.
