The circular objectives pursued by the PRecycling project were presented to the public during the 2022 edition of the European Researchers’ Night, which took place on the night of September 30 across 26 countries. A wide array of participants, ranging from primary school students to families and researchers, took part in the event.

Through the distribution of communication material, and the display of toys (one of the main focuses of the PRecycling project in terms of product categories), the projects’ representatives promoted their recycling through gamification and provided practical demonstrations of 3D printing techniques.
 

The PRecycling booth was also equipped with the project’s poster; moreover, the attendees had the possibility to find out more about the plastics recycling activities in the context of the project through a video displaying shredding, compounding, and 3D printing activities, which was played nonstop during the event.

Additionally, Ph.D. Candidate Konstantinos Zafeiris was interviewed by the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation as a spokesperson for the PRecycling project.
